3/4 of the Weekend

I really wanted a huge storm on Friday. Just for a change. Hawaii really needs more rain.

So Friday was spent at home writing songs and playing guitar and eating and sleeping. Fun.

And on Saturday, I went to Michael's house to practice for this concert thing we're doing at school next month. It went really well. (:

Today I had rehearsal, then met up with some friends at Ala Moana, and walked to Ward to watch Gran Torino. It was a really good movie. I thought the Chinese kid's acting could've been better, but overall it was awesome. And Clint Eastwood's lines are fucking hilarious. I suggest watching it if you haven't already.

ラーメン！

School starts in two days. How comforting. Not.

Today I went to Alicia's house to try out this ramen experiment thing she told me about. Supposedly, if you add vanilla ice cream to shoyu ramen, the result tastes like tonkotsu ramen??
So we tried it. We might've put in a bit too much ice cream. But it actually tasted okay. Much better than I imagined.

After that, we played Wii for a while. I never realized how tiring it is to keep a hula hoop going. Even if it's a virtual hula hoop on a screen.

it's really tiring.

Later on, we talked and played guitar. Her dad's Ovation is really nice.

Well, it's one hour into the fourth day of the year, I'm tired, and Alicia's urging me to hurry up. Again.

FIRST BLOGGGGGG!

Wow it's 2009 already. Feels kind of...surreal. Just a year and a half left of high school. Until I get off this island. (:

New Year's Eve was pretty fun. I met up with some friends in Waikiki, and popped fireworks on the beach. But right when we were about to light the big one, the police showed up. Damn.

I would post up pictures, but the camera dropped into the water next to the jetty. )x

Anyway, Alicia wants me to give birth to this blog now, so I'm done. Goodnight.
